If you receive a grant from us what do we expect from you?

Ongoing grants

Ongoing grants are paid once a year.  During the grant we ask for a brief report a few weeks before each instalment is due. We write to remind you when your report is due and give you a date when we need it.

We also ask you to send your Annual Report and Accounts each year.

Single grants and final year of ongoing grants

At the end of your grant we ask you to complete a simple feedback form.   We send this with your final cheque and ask you to return it a year later.   We shall not write to remind you.

Feedback forms are downloadable from the website for those who prefer to word process their answers or who have mislaid their form.

Problems can arise in your organisation during a grant, especially if it lasts for several years.

Please get in touch to discuss your situation.

Things that might need a discussion are: the possibility of having to close down; maybe having to put some work 'on hold' for a while; considering merging with another charity; finding you have more funding than you need. Yes even that does happen sometimes! These are all situations that have already happened to our grant-holders and we try to be helpful.
